#YMM Fire Fund - Fort McMurray Aid

Donations can be designated to support the relief fund directly through Place2Give.com

Calgary, Alberta, Canada – Place2Give has created a #YMMFire Fund to assist in the organizations who are working on the front-lines of the #YMMFire and agencies supporting the individuals and families that have been displaced as a result of this natural disaster.

The Place2Gice Flood Relief Fund will be supporting the following charities:

• AARCS (Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society)
• Learning Through the Arts (Aboriginal Program)
• Wood Buffalo Food Bank (through the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank)
• Rotary Club of Fort McMurray
• First Responder Foundations (Fire and EMS)

As in the past, we will be adding charities to the list as we do our due diligence and receive information on how the organizations will be using the funds.  Funds will be raised and deployed as quickly and realistically as possible.  We will work closely with the recipients to ensure that funds are accounted for and we will update our donors as information is provided. 

A credit card processing fee of 3% will be applied to all transactions. Place2Give Fund is an online Donora Advised Fund and tax receipts will be issued directly upon donation.
